Spreading brotherhood is another service to Nation. Students of RPS International School, Sector 50 joined the residents of South City-II in celebrating 70th Republic Day. They performed dances, recited poems and songs in praise of the Nation that invoked patriotic feelings among the gathering. RWA President, Mr. Bhardwaj widely appreciated the efforts of the students and congratulated school management. Students were also awarded with certificates.

Makar Sankranti is the festival of worship, food, kite flying and joy. This auspicious occassion is celebrated every year on 14th January depending upon the solar cycle. The meaning of the word Makar Sankranti comes from two words Makar and Sankranti. The meaning of Makar is Capricorn, and the meaning of Sankranti is the transition. The main cuisine of this festival is a dish made from seasme and jaggery that adds sparkle to the festival. Kite flying is also a great part of the festival and during the day the whole family enjoys kite flying. The sky is filled with a lot of colourful kites with interesting designs.
