Outset of December fills air with festive moods of Christmas. On December 19, 2018, the tiny tots of RPS International school were involved in candy craft activity to showcase their love and gaiety for their favorite festival. They pasted red and white colour circles on A4 size sheet. This was a fun learning activity that fosters self-exploration, colour recognition, grip control, coordination and concentration. The activity was based on the Christmas theme which added enthusiasm of the tiny tots. The young artists surprised teacher with their creativity. Teacher appreciated and applauded all the participants.

Today's Assembly of Pre Primary and Primary wing was led by students of class UKG. The objective behind today's Assembly was to reiterate the message of having a clean and green world. 'Pollution and Solution'- Pollution is a menace and to overcome it we have to come together. This message was delivered through dance, song, skit and talks by the little wonders. Students participated with full vigour and excitement. During the Assembly we presented awards to students who have won laurels at the Intra RPS Athletic competition and 'Global Star' awards to our Pre Primary and Primary students. Principal ma'am and Head Mistress ma'am did the honours and acknowledged the efforts of Assembly students and their mentors.

Mathematics Day

"Mathematics is the only subject which shows that problems have solutions". To celebrate the spirit of mathematical learning, Pre-Primary wing of RPS International School, sector-50, Gurugram,celebrated National mathematics day on Tuesday 22nd Dec'20. This day marks the birth anniversary of self-taught Indian mathematician, Srinivasa Ramanujan and his contributions in the field of mathematics. In order to explore various mathematical concepts in a creative manner, teachers planned a number of fun-filled activities for children. 'Roll and Dot the Numbers', ' Fun with Shapes and Numbers' and 'Dice making' were a few of them.All the activities were challenging, hands on and applicable in real life and brought forth maximum participation from students. It was indeed a joyful day of learning for the children who exhibited unparalleled excitement and actively participated in all activities.

Enlightening session on 'Educating the Educator'

It is rightly said that teaching is learning twice over. Hence, teachers are meant to be consistent learners. We at RPS understand how crucial it is for teachers to speak English correctly in order to enhance the global competency of our students. With the same objective Mr. Vipin Sharma, the Academic Director, RPS Group of schools conducted an enlightening session on 'Educating the Educator' for the entire faculty at RPS-50. After a warm welcome, Mr. Sharma started his session foc ussing on common mistakes in English in our day to day conversation and also discussed the basic grammar while correcting those mistakes.  Teachers were provided handouts containing interestingly challenging exercises which were discussed at length.
