Mathematics Day

"Mathematics is the only subject which shows that problems have solutions". To celebrate the spirit of mathematical learning, Pre-Primary wing of RPS International School, sector-50, Gurugram,celebrated National mathematics day on Tuesday 22nd Dec'20. This day marks the birth anniversary of self-taught Indian mathematician, Srinivasa Ramanujan and his contributions in the field of mathematics. In order to explore various mathematical concepts in a creative manner, teachers planned a number of fun-filled activities for children. 'Roll and Dot the Numbers', ' Fun with Shapes and Numbers' and 'Dice making' were a few of them.All the activities were challenging, hands on and applicable in real life and brought forth maximum participation from students. It was indeed a joyful day of learning for the children who exhibited unparalleled excitement and actively participated in all activities.

Parents-teacher meeting _"Connecting home and school makes a great community of learners_ ." A parents-teacher meeting was held on 17th July 2019. Parents teachers came together to discuss the area of strength and area of improvement and traced out the ways to enrich students' educational experiences. They expressed their satisfaction towards the school for providing quality education and encouragement for co-curricular activities. Whole school immersed in the festive look of PARENT TEACHER MEET for Montessori and Primary sections on May18 2019 at RPS International School ,Sector 50.The hustle and bustle began with movement of enthusiastic Parents with their wards stepping inside campus to visit their respective class teachers . The main purpose of meet was to create a common platform, where teacher and parents come together to enrich the student’s educational experiences and discuss variety of issues, regarding all round development of children. Parents were informed about the summer camp and also handed over Holidays Homework. Principal of the school Ms Bindu Gupta and Headmistress Ms Nikita also met parents to get their valuable feedback and assured all out efforts for shaping the personality of their wards at RPS.

RPS sector 50 Gurugram strongly believes in the parent-school partnership!! For the same, the morning of Saturday, 07-12-19 started with a positive hustle of parents coming to school for the PTM. The day was extremely fruitful as constructive feedback was shared by the teachers to the parents w.r.t their academic and extra curricular performance. Steps and measures for improvement were also discussed for the holistic development of each child!!
