Mathematics Day

"Mathematics is the only subject which shows that problems have solutions". To celebrate the spirit of mathematical learning, Pre-Primary wing of RPS International School, sector-50, Gurugram,celebrated National mathematics day on Tuesday 22nd Dec'20. This day marks the birth anniversary of self-taught Indian mathematician, Srinivasa Ramanujan and his contributions in the field of mathematics. In order to explore various mathematical concepts in a creative manner, teachers planned a number of fun-filled activities for children. 'Roll and Dot the Numbers', ' Fun with Shapes and Numbers' and 'Dice making' were a few of them.All the activities were challenging, hands on and applicable in real life and brought forth maximum participation from students. It was indeed a joyful day of learning for the children who exhibited unparalleled excitement and actively participated in all activities.

Mock Fire Drill

"The only real security that a man can have in this world is a reserve of knowledge, experience and ability.” Through various safeguards and campaigns, RPS International School Sec 50 Gurugram strives to make its teachers and students aware and up-to-date. Keeping this in mind, a 'Mock Fire Drill' was performed on July 31st, 2019 in RPS International School Sec 50 Gurugram. As part of the endeavor, an evacuation drill was organized at the school in order to make the child ren aware of, ‘How to react in case of an emergency’? It was a successful exercise and children participated and cooperated wholeheartedly and intelligently in this initiative. The staff members were also trained how to use fire extinguisher and hose pipes at the time of need. The drill was well-planned and well-executed, there was no panic and everything went off smoothly. RPS sector 50 Gurugram strongly believes in the parent-school partnership!! For the same, the morning of Saturday, 07-12-19 started with a positive hustle of parents coming to school for the PTM. The day was extremely fruitful as constructive feedback was shared by the teachers to the parents w.r.t their academic and extra curricular performance.
